Artist v Architect | a Collaborative Event Experience

Event Description

Artist v Architect is a one-of-a-kind exhibition and auction serving as a platform to celebrate the creativity of the modern world of art and architecture in the Dallas community. On Thursday, November 14, 2013 at One Arts Plaza, local emerging and known artists and architects chosen by an esteemed panel of experts in the field of art and architecture, will creatively and collaboratively “duel” it out with their industry peers. All mediums of art, furniture and architectural models are featured. In the end, a public vote determines if it is the Artist or Architect that is the true Michelangelo. However, the ultimate result is an evening paying tribute to the artistic process and journey showcasing how collaboration can inspire us all. 

Throughout the evening guests have the opportunity to bid via silent and live auction on the artists and architects created works. We are delighted to announce that the official auction beneficiary for 2013 will be Family Compass (formally known as Child Abuse Prevention Center). With a mission to build healthy families and a strong Dallas community by preventing child abuse and neglect, Family Compass implements proven and effective programs so that parents can be equipped and empowered to raise healthy and productive children. Tickets will be available at the door, however prices will increase. VIP will be $150 and General Admission will be $100.
